After a year flying different balloon shapes for another pilot, it was decided that it was the right time for Balloon Muppets to get their own special balloon shape, 'Hyla the Frog'. Hyla is a small green tree frog found in many parts of the world.
Kubicek Balloons is based in Brno in the Czech Republic and Hyla was built in 2016. Balloon Muppets travelled to the Kubicek factory for Hyla's first inflation on the 20th February 2017. Paperwork done, Hyla complete, then off she was shipped to Labao in the Philippines for a Balloon Festival, and that was the start of Hyla’s travels.
